About Egypt

The Arab Republic of Egypt is a trans continental country linking northeast Africa with the Middle East. The country is however mostly located in Northeast Africa. It is bordered by the Gaza Strip and Israel to the northeast, the Gulf of Aqaba to the east, the Red Sea to the east and south, Sudan to the south and Libya to the west. Egypt is quite a popular country, and with good reason. Ancient Egypt is one of the earliest and greatest civilizations of all time, known to have made giant strides and complex discoveries even in such ancient times. Egyptian monuments and symbols are still matters of great mystery, interest, and relevance today. The country has its capital in Cairo which is the largest city in Africa and the Middle East.

Abu Simbel: The Abu Simbel temple has achieved the feat of being a temple that stands out even in a country bristling with temples. It was Ramses II's great temple and is identified by the colossal statuary standing guard outside it. It is famous for its megalithic proportions and the wall paintings in its interior. The Egyptian Museum: Visiting the Egyptian Museum is the best way to take a trip down the lane of history to relive and discover the charms and splendour of ancient Egypt. It is one of the world's greatest Museums featuring spectacular collections, exhibits, and arts.
